Mike and Debbie Bowman started End of Trail Ranch about 15 years ago near Benton, KS. As a result of their breeding and marketing programs, their herd is firmly established today as an industry leader. Their senior herd sire, Boomerang CP, continues to produce outstanding offspring including EOT Outback Beauty, who sold for $150,000 at the 2006 Legacy Sale II, making her the highest selling heifer to be sold at a public auction in Longhorn history. A younger bull, TDJ Super Hero, is also doing his part at End of Trail Ranch. In addition to the Longhorn herd, the Bowmans operate a large commercial cow-calf operation and own a successful fencing company in Wichita, KS. The Bowmans have hosted the successful Midwest Longhorn Sale in Winfield, KS for several years. |

Bow Carpenter is a San Antonio, TX businessman and is a strong supporter and participant of Texas Longhorn events. He is fast becoming the owner of many top selling Longhorns adding excellent genetics to his breeding program. He was the purchaser of many 2005 Cash Cows calculated each year and published in the TLBAA Texas Longhorn Trails magazine. He is frequently at the top of the list as a volume buyer at Texas Longhorn sales. If he’s not out in the pasture with his Longhorns, he can be found hunting elk and deer. |

H.C. and Lynnda Carter are from Dripping Springs, TX. Mr. Carter began his career in Austin real estate after studying architecture at the University of Texas. He founded his own real estate company and is known as the quintessential entrepreneur and a self-made businessman. Mr. Carter has bred Texas Longhorns for more than 22 years. He has served as a TLBAA director and committee member and, along with Charlie Schreiner III, founded the South Texas Longhorn Association affiliate. Their Longhorns, as well as their home ranch in Dripping Springs, have been used in television commercials and films. H.C. & Lynnda have been at the forefront of many Texas Longhorn Sales. |

Rob and Marcy Fenza of West Chester, PA, Rob is the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Liberty Property Trust, a self-administered, self-managed real estate investment trust with more than 650 commercial and industrial properties. Mr. Fenza’s Pennsylvania State University education included courses in landscape architecture, agriculture, business, real estate and engineering. Mr. Fenza joined the TLBAA in 2002 but has already made his mark on the industry owning many superior Texas Longhorns. He donates generously and participates in as many Longhorn activities as possible. He is a very likeable gentleman and loves coming to Texas. |

Richard and Jeanne Filip began their Longhorn story in 2000, when Jeanne gave her husband a Texas Longhorn steer for his birthday to celebrate his years with The University of Texas. Who knew that with that gift, they would soon be totally and passionately involved with the Texas Longhorn industry. In just seven short years, the Filip's have put together a super group of foundation females at their Bentwood Rand in Fayetteville, Texas. They are using the proven genetics of Boomerific and adding those of Hunt's Most Respected, Fire & Ice 48 and SDR San Anton Texa to create their own unique herd of outstanding Longhorns. Richard, a licensed real estate broker since 1969, is responsible for the explosive growth of the statewide Re/Max of Texas network. In 2002, he completed a purchase of the company, which now generates annual sales in the billions. Richard is the co-founder of the non-profit Re/Max Ballunar Liftoff Festival, the state's largest hot air balloon festival. An avid outdoors enthusiast, he is a licensed hot air balloon and fixed-wing pilot. |

Ben and Ann Gravett of G & G Longhorns in Catlett, VA are well known in the Texas Longhorn industry. The Gravetts began raising Texas Longhorns in 1988 as a natural extension of their interest in agriculture. Active from the beginning on a local and national level, G & G has evolved into one of the leading programs in the breed. The Gravetts hosted a sale in Culpeper, VA to offer their cattle, and provide a place for their customers to market through consignment. Red and Charlene McCombs, who have raised Texas Longhorn cattle for nearly 30 years, are legends in the Texas Longhorn industry. From the beginning, the McCombs have dedicated their efforts to having the best quality cattle possible by using top bulls. Texas Ranger, Classic and Redmac Beau Butler in the beginning, and today the genetics of Super Bowl, Coach, and a stout battery of younger bulls including Touchdown of RM, MC Super Rex and RM King Midas. The couple have continuously worked to increase the awareness and marketability of the breed. They are the hosts of the famous Fiesta Texas Longhorn sale at their Johnson City, TX, ranch, and were co-hosts of the original Texas Legacy Sale in the mid-eighties. Through hard word and determination, McCombs built an auto conglomerate comprising more than 50 dealerships that at one time was the sixth largest in the United States. A co-founder of Clear Creek Communications, McCombs has owned a number of sports franchises including the San Antonio Spurs and the Minnesota Vikings. The McCombs are also well known for their support of the alma maters, The University of Texas (the Red McCombs School of Business), and Texas Southwestern University, as well as the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and they have been recognized with many honors. |

Bernice Moore of Moore's Longhorn Ranch and her late husband, Ray, became involved with Longhorns almost four decades ago. Through those years, their ranch locations may have changed, but never their dedication to the cattle and the breeders and to developing a herd of great Longhorns, many of which appear in today's pedigrees. In addition to their support of all things Longhorn, Moore's Longhorns is well known for producing Texas Longhorn cattle with the reputation and ability of growing exceptional horn. They are also known for their black Longhorn herd and for the bull, Deigo's Hot Shot, co owned with Tyson Leonard. Deigo Hot Shot is the sire of the famous Strlight cow that for several years, was the longest horned cow in the breed. Today, Moore's Longhorn Ranch calls Roff, OK home. There the legacy of long horned cattle continues as Bernice, along with her grandson and manager, Lody Moore, keep up the Moore tradition. |

Joe and Becca Munsch operate JBM Longhorns at Emory, TX. In the business since 1991, Joe first selected Texas Longhorns as his breed of choice because he was a graduate of The University of Texas, but it soon became more than a hobby. His goal was to have a top-notch herd. Once he selected some cattle from the Ray Moore herd, he has been on the upswing ever since. Joe began using such well known bulls as Lamb's Power Play and then Boomerific, a long-horned son of Boomerang, to produce a number of offspring that often top the sales. Filling out this beginning bull battery are the younger JBM Powerful Sterling, JP Grand Ritz, JBM Boomshot, and Sittin Bull. Johnnie and Pat Robinson of Celina, Texas, became involved with Texas Longhorns in 1999. Since that time they have worked to continuously breed great cattle using long-horned genetics. Well respected in the Longhorn industry, the friendly couple participates in Texas Longhorn events both as buyers and sellers. In 2006 they were recognized by the TLBAA as Breeders of the Year. |

Jim, Becky and Justin Rombeck of Home, KS, is definitely a family operation with Jim and Becky Rombeck at the helm and children Justin, Jessica and Jacey providing the back-up. Their breeding program had been geared to horn as well as conformation, docility and mothering ability. The cornerstone of their breeding program is the famous Wyoming Warpaint, billed as the longest Total Horn bull in the world at 100-5/8". By carefully planned matings with some of the Rombeck's respected and outstanding females, Warpaint has produced offspring that are serious competitors in the Horn arena themselves. The Rombecks are always quick to support new breeders with their knowledge and helpful advice, and bring them into their family circle. Son Justin has taken this a step further by offering consulting services. |

T.M. and Jean Smith of Boyd, TX. T.M. Smith, or "Smithy" as he's better known, entered the Longhorn business in the 1970's. Once he started with Longhorns, it wsn't long before that was the only breed he raised. He grew up working as a West Texas cowboy and continued as a rodeo contestant and producer, so he grew up with plenty of cow savvy. That knowledge is evident in the quality of the registered herd that he and his wife, Jean, maintain at their home near Boyd, TX, as well as several other locations. Their bull battery includes such outstanding sires as Watson 1189, Red Powell and TMS Dixie Red Ranger 28, and the younger Yuma Chex and TMS Coach Dixie Hunter. In addition, the Smith's have a crossbred herd using their commercial Longhorns, and Smitty is also well known for his knowledge of the roper market. |

Larry and Deborah Stewart of Lazy L Longhorns in Lampasas, TX work hard at raising and marketing their Texas Longhorn herd. They searched long and hard to find bull power in the Longhorn industry and found it with Shadow and Gunman genetics. Stewart is a businessman in Midland, TX, but moved to a Lampasas ranch to become more involved with the cattle. Many of their magnificent Longhorns stretched the measuring tape at the TLBAA 2005 Fall Horn Showcase. They are strong supporters of the Longhorn industry and can always be counted on as sponsors. |
